by Professor Warwick Duncan

Dr. Warwick Duncan is a BDS graduate of the University of Otago in 1985. He completed his MDS in Periodontics with distinction in 1992, and PhD in Implantology in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and Member of the Royal Society of New Zealand. He was promoted to full Professor in Periodontics and Dental Implantology in January 2015 and is Head of the Discipline of Periodontics in the Department of Oral Sciences. His team run the postgraduate doctoral program for specialist clinical training in Periodontology as well as conducting an active PhD program in regenerative and stem cell research.

Wound Closure Techniques in Periodontal Surgery
by Dr Rasidah Ayob

Dr. Rasidah Hj Ayob received her BDS in 1990 from University of Malaya. She then obtained her membership from Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS) and Certificate in Clinical Science (UCL) in 2002. In 2005, she attained her MClinDent. in Periodontology from University College of London and awarded a Certificate in Periodontology by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). She is currently Head Unit of Periodontics in Melaka, Council Member of Malaysian Society of Periodontology and actively involved as a speaker for various training courses in periodontology throughout Malaysia. Her special interest is Periodontal Plastic and Regenerative Surgery

Cancellation Policy
  • Applications for refund shall be through email to zurairah@usm.my.
  • Applications received on or before 30th June 2019 are entitled for a full refund (minus administrative fee). Those received between July 1st & July 31st are entitled to a 50% refund (minus administrative fee).
  • Refund applications received after July 31st 2019 will not be entertained.
  • All refunds are subject to a RM100.00 administrative fee.
